McEachern High School



Swofford Construction recently completed a dining facility project for McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Georgia. The facility is a free standing 24,000 square foot cafeteria capable of serving the 2600 student population of the high school. The style of the dining facility was modeled after a shopping mall food court and it was designed to meet a variety of student tastes and nutritional needs, all prepared on state of the art kitchen equipment.

The project cost $4 million, and took 10 months to complete. Unique architectural features include an interior barrel vault ceiling in the dining area, as well as an exterior design that blends with the historic theme of the McEachern High School campus.
