We are pleased to note that Swofford Construction performed the difficult tasks of scheduling, coordination, completion of phases on schedule and completion of punch lists in an exemplary manner. As a result of their management, supervisory and communication skills, occupancy and full use of this facility continued throughout the construction period.

Ray S. Moore

Project Architect, Cunningham, Forehand, Matthews & Moore

Swofford Construction was proficient in all areas, using experience and innovation to make field decisions as required, involving the owner or architect when appropriate, and generally doing whatever necessary to create a great final project. Even with the unique nature of this project and several unknowns at the outset, the project has come in under budget.

Ed Carlsen

Building Task Force Chairman, Christ the King Lutheran Church

I want you to know that I personally, as the Building Committee’s contact with your firm, have been most pleased with the overall quality of your construction work. I also want you to know that you may refer to me anyone who might like to hear my opinion of Swofford Construction.

Robert Richards

Building Committee Chair, Alpharetta First United Methodist Church

I appreciate the professional and positive manner that accompanied the construction of our building. You have many employees that consistently displayed the confidence and expertise that enabled us to achieve our goal. I appreciate your cooperation with the architect and the subcontractors. The team effort between Swofford and architect Randy Young allowed us to have the building we desired at a cost we could afford without sacrificing quality.

Andy Henderson

Building Committee Chair, Buford Presbyterian Church

The new $1.6 million classroom building project you developed for us at Pine Mountain First United Methodist Church was a great success story in the life of our church. We were delighted that Swofford made the entire project come together professionally, timely and according to our budgeted expectations. Your construction management staff were professional, courteous and well informed. You and your staff met with us routinely throughout the project duration to answer and address all questions and guide us through the process. Our hope was merely to have a project constructed on budget and on time; we got that plus gained some new friends along the way.

Robert See

Building Committee Chair, Pine Mountain First United Methodist Church

As chairman of the Building Committee I worked with your employees on a daily basis. They were competent, co-operative and took pride in their work. Their efforts resulted in a high quality building of which we are very proud.

William Roberts

Building Committee Chair, Fayetteville First Baptist Church

Working with the Swofford team has been outstanding. Consistently your team went above and beyond our expectations. Swofford continues to exceed our expectations. As we handle value engineering, change orders and deadline adjustments, Swofford continues to show us how much they value us as a customer.

Michael Ray

Executive Pastor, Dogwood Church

This project was built on a very short time schedule during the wet season of the year but yet was still completed on time prior to the beginning of the school year and with very few change orders…. It is always a pleasure to work with your company as we have come to expect high quality work and a degree of professionalism which in many times is lacking in the construction industry.

William Howell

Howell/Pope Architects, Argyle Elementary School Addition and Renovation

We have had the pleasure of working with Swofford Construction on five school projects in the last few years… Swofford Construction demonstrated an ability to manage construction under demanding time constraints, and their considerable knowledge of building procedures, materials and trades are a tremendous asset to any owner.

Larry Wall

Director of Construction, Cobb County Public Schools

The most important aspect of this project was the necessity for our business to continue uninterrupted, with the least amount of inconveniences for our customers during this renovation. Swofford Construction, Inc. understood our priorities and made every effort to incorporate our business needs around their plans and time lines. We were able to remain completely operational during the entire construction project and made a smooth transition into the new facility. This was a direct reflection of Swofford Construction understanding our needs and making our priorities theirs.

RECENTLY COMPLETED

Henry County Group 10

Renovations, modifications, and additions to the Henry County Schools Group 10 elementary, middle, and high school campus.

The renovations to the existing elementary, middle, and high schools centered around two major additions, but also included upgrades to restrooms, audio/visual systems, interactive educational equipment, a new fiber communications backbone, installation of a new road, driveway repair, and security upgrades.

Due to the project coming in below budget, the school system was able to spend $180,000 on these upgrades, with enough left over to seal and stripe the parking lots of all three schools.
